在Windows 7中安裝好Oracle資料庫後，預設會在開機時自動啟動這項「服務」，一旦啟動後記憶體就被吃了一堆，很不方便。因此關閉Oracle資料庫自動啟動服務的方法如下。
Oracle資料庫安裝時，會一併安裝一個管理工具叫做"Oracle Administration Assistant for Windows"，你可以在
開始 -> All Programs -> Oracle -> Configuration and Migration Tools找到 Administration Assistant for Windows這個工具。
開啟Oracle Administration Assistant for Windows，展開
Oracle Administration Assistant for Windows/Oracle Managed Objects/Computers/[你的電腦名稱]/資料庫/[你的資料庫]。
[你的資料庫]是當初你安裝時自訂的Global database name，例如這邊是ORCL，在[你的資料庫]上面按滑鼠右鍵 -> 啟動/關閉選項(O)...，
然後切換到[Oracle NT服務]標籤，在下方的[Oracle NT 服務啟動類型]點選[手動]然後按Apply即可關閉每次開機時Oracle資料庫的自動啟動服務。
不過上面方法在我的電腦並無法成功地將自動啟動改為手動，所以改使用下面方法。
開啟Windows的「服務」工具。你可以在Windows的開始搜尋欄位輸入"服務"，然後在上方點選[服務]來開啟。
打開「服務」後找到OracleServiceSID這項服務（SID為你的資料庫名稱，這邊為OracleServiceORCL），然後按滑鼠右鍵 -> 內容(Properties)開啟設定面板。
在[一般(General)]標籤下找到[啟動類型(Startup type)]，將原本的[自動(Automatic)]改為[手動(Manual)]然後按套用(Apply)。
